I will often do something, say something or move my body in a certain way and I will think, oh wow... I am becoming my mother.
We pick up on mannerisms, ways of speaking and we learn ways of being in the world from our moms.
What have you learned from yours?
I learned hard work, creativity, generosity, humor, among many other characteristics from mine. These are lessons that serve me every day in my own life.
I think I look like my mom, too. Recently, I had one of those "I am my mother now" moments and I looked for a photo of us together to see how much we look alike side by side. The only pictures I found were not-so-great phone pics.
I realized there aren’t any good photos of the two of us together. I decided to rectify that. And, now I have an heirloom that will only increase in significance and meaning as years go by.

Retainer fee is $400.
For this special portrait event, that retainer fee will become an $800 credit toward final artwork purchases.
What to expect:
Before the shoot happens, we will have a consultation either in person, or via zoom where we will discuss clothing, styling, vibes and any concerns or ideas we have about the shoot.
During the shoot, I will treat you! I make a playlist of music to set the mood, we have drinks, light snacks available and we have FUN.
If you are worried about not being photogenic, not knowing how to pose, or wanting to look your absolute best, I HAVE GOT YOU. That is my job. Your only job is to show up ready to have fun, relax and trust me.
After the shoot, we will have a viewing appointment where we select your favorite photos and you decide what artwork you want to buy.
