I want to photograph you exactly as you are, right now.
As the person who shows up everyday for work, shows up for fun, for your loved ones, for cookouts with friends.
You don't have to know how to pose. You don't have to be "photogenic." You don't have to hide your laugh lines, freckles, scars, tired eyes, bright eyes, or any of the things you've been taught to apologize for.
This session isn't about creating a better version of you.
It's about celebrating the one who has been here all along.
My job isn't to change you. It isn't to hide you or turn you into someone unrecognizable. My job is to notice you—to see the strength, softness, humor, resilience, and humanity you probably overlook every time you pass a mirror.
Come in your favorite T-shirt. Come in a ponytail. Come in a dress. Come after work. Come after a hike.
Come exactly as you are.
Years from now, these photographs won't simply remind you what you looked like.
They'll remind you who you were.
For these sessions, we're stripping everything back. Simple sets. Beautiful light. Honest black-and-white portraits. Nothing to distract from the most interesting part of the photograph:

Pre-session design consultation where we plan our time together.
Professional photo shoot in my studio or on location.
Multiple looks (3-7 outfits)
Image reveal appointment during which you get to see your images and choose faves.
Your favorite 5 images from the shoot, professionally printed and mounted, plus digitals of those 5 images.
Discount on any additional artwork, frames, albums, etc.

For these Come As You Are sessions, I want you to come wearing whatever makes you feel the most like YOU.
There are no rules.
Bring at least 3 and up to 7 outfit changes. We will shoot a variety!

I don’t like to put time limits on my shoots. Yours will be the only one I do that day so you have my best, creative self working with you.
Generally, one to three hours.

What to expect:
Before the shoot happens, we will have a consultation either in person, or via zoom where we will discuss clothing, styling, vibes and any concerns or ideas we have about the shoot.
During the shoot, I will treat you! First order of business is to make you feel comfortable. We will have time at the beginning of our shoot, to talk, go over clothing, and settle in. I make a playlist of music to set the mood, and then we just have FUN.
If you are worried about not being photogenic, not knowing how to pose, or wanting to look your absolute best, I HAVE GOT YOU. That is my job. Your only job is to show up ready to have fun, relax and trust me.
After the shoot, we will have a viewing appointment where we select your favorite photos and you decide which images you want to take home.
